Adding another ‘first’ for SAITEX, the hugely influential Black Business Council (BBC) has announced its support for the business opportunities event in Africa – SAITEX. The Southern African International Trade Exhibition, now in its 22nd year, runs from the 21st to the 23rd June 2015 at the world-class Gallagher Convention Centre in Midrand.

“The BBC is working to network black business internationally, and SAITEX is the perfect trade hub to facilitate that,” says acting CEO Pule Mokoena.  “These are exciting times for black business. We have more than 50 organisations and associations affiliated to the BBC who will experience the many international networking and business opportunities for which SAITEX is so well known.”

The three-day event will feature over 1,000 manufacturers from 39 countries showcasing thousands of products and services to an eager African market.  More than 15,000 trade visitors from 44 countries are expected to attend.

“SAITEX is the ideal platform for BBC members to network with international business contacts and tap into markets across Africa,” says John Thomson of Exhibition Management Services, organisers of the event.  “SAITEX has grown into a global facilitator of trade between countries. We are excited to have the BBC backing the 2015 show.

SAITEX is also supported by the City of Joburg and takes place alongside Africa’s Big Seven (AB7), the largest food and beverage trade expo in Africa.
