Coatings for Africa 2015 industry - wide call for participation

The Oil & Colour Chemists’ Association (OCCA) and the South African Paint Manufacturers Association (SAPMA) in conjunction with Hypenica are pleased to announce an industry-wide call for participation at the Coatings for Africa 2015 symposium and expo, taking place 11 – 13 May 2015 at the Sandton Convention Centre in Johannesburg.

With its mix of high-profile international plenary speakers, presentations, an exhibition, interactive workshops, panel discussions, plus a busy social and networking programme, this event will, yet again, appeal to a broad spectrum of professionals in the industry.

The increase in infrastructure and maintenance spending by the private and public sectors in South Africa, Nigeria and Kenya is lending momentum to the growth of the industrial paints and coatings market in these countries, according to Frost & Sullivan. Sales volume of industrial paints and coatings across the three countries estimated to reach 142.1 million litres in 2017 compared to 101.2 million litres in 2012.

The Coatings for Africa 2015 symposium and expo programme is developed to provide a forum which identifies, discusses and forecasts developments in this burgeoning industry.

The event brings together the value chain of Africa’s coatings industry, from raw material suppliers to end users. With a distinctly pan-African focus, the event is the biggest showcase of coatings technology, paint and related products on the continent and will be even bigger and better in 2015. Attendees can expect 100+ exhibitors, 20+ visionary speakers, 10+ African countries participating and 1200 high-level decision makers in attendance.
