Afrimat launches new and improved website

Being a dynamic, innovative company always at the forefront of technological advancement, Afrimat says it launched its new website, designed with a fresh new look and user-friendly navigation.

The website has been designed and programmed using Responsive Web Design (RWD,) which is aimed at developing sites that provide an optimal viewing experience, including easy reading and navigation, with minimum resizing, panning, and scrolling required. According to analysts, industry commentators and StatCounter, a web analytics service that reports usage statistics of browsers (among other things) based on raw page views, South Africa’s website page views are increasingly coming from mobile devices. Nomad Device Lab, a collection of mobile devices that helps with mobile testing reiterates that about two-thirds of all web use in South Africa comes from mobile devices. Given that mobile web access is increasingly popular and moving along with the trends, Afrimat’s website can now be accessed across a wide range of devices including any smart phone, tablet and desktop computer monitor.

The website can now reach as many people, on as many devices, as possible. Since its launch the website has experienced a marked increase in the number of visits. In addition to the enhanced aesthetics and usability features the site has been updated with the latest information about the company, its products and services and its key messages and value propositions. “One of our main goals was to build a user-friendly and simple to navigate site to enable our clients to get to know us better as a company, and at the same time find what they need quickly. We hope that our clients will enjoy browsing our new site, finding more options and quality information, and that it will be yet another tool for strengthening our stakeholder relations,” says Afrimat Group Marketing Manager Hylton Hale.
