Please join us as Pick n Pay announces its latest developments to reduce plastic waste. In partnership with the V&A Waterfront, Pick n Pay will launch Reverse Vending Machines whereby customers will be rewarded for recycling.

At the event, Pick n Pay will unveil a life-size rhino sculpture which has been decorated with re-purposed plastic waste by local award-winning designer and artist, Heath Nash, which will serve to create awareness amongst consumers to not only Reduce, Reuse, Recycle but also Repurpose plastic.

Suzanne Ackerman-Berman, Transformation Director at Pick n Pay, will provide an update on Pick n Pay’s plastic waste reduction initiatives announced earlier this year and the exciting plans the retailer has in the pipeline, including a unique plastic bag awareness campaign for its customers.
