As a result of these frustrations, Wendy conceptualised and started a web-based service which assists and “protects” businesses through reducing the risk caused by outstanding payments. Accountability does this by granting members access to affordable facilities which allow them to pre-credit check prospective clients, assist with collections and provides an updated list of default payers as per the credit bureau. Accountability also offers clients added value products, such as legal assistance, ID verification and Business Debtor Monitoring.

Wendy has managed to create a niche and affordable product which is deemed essential in the current challenging economic environment. As a business, Accountability is able to support the sometimes struggling SMEs sector to survive, as well as offer significant support to the community via corporate citizen practices.
