BMG is organising a Food and Beverage Expo at the Hazendal Wine Estate in Stellenbosch, on 20 February 2020

“This specialist food and beverage event – which follows the success of the Johannesburg expo held in September last year – will showcase BMG’s extensive solution services for this growing industry,” explains Mark Barbour, Group Product & Sales Manager, BMG. “We believe that this expo will be the ideal forum for our Cape customers to be part of the recent changes in legislation, which include the new regulation R638 for ‘Regulations governing general hygiene requirements for food premises, the transport of food and related matters’.

“On display will be a wide range of BMG systems and components that assist both manufacturers and end-users to achieve compliance with these new specifications and help deliver on food safety and environmental and energy-efficient initiatives.

“The BMG team is looking forward to hosting existing and prospective customers, as well as international and local suppliers at this event. The programme includes product exhibits and working demonstrations. Our keynote speaker is Linda Jackson of Food Focus, who will address relevant topics, including food safety and waste, contamination, legislation, water and energy efficiency and the importance of quality products for added value in the food and beverage sector.”

BMG will exhibit light materials handling, belting products, gearboxes, motors and variable speed drives (VSDs), seals and bearings, power transmission components, valves, tools and equipment, as well as fasteners, lubricants and maintenance chemicals.

This show will not only highlight the company’s extensive range of engineering components and expertise, but there will be a focus on how BMG integrates its vast product range and extensive technical services into tangible operational efficiencies in the food and beverage sector.

The event takes place at the Hazendal Wine Estate in Stellenbosch on 20 February 2020. For further information, contact marketing@bmgworld.net and to register, click on http://bmg-showcase.foodfocus.co.za/

Apart from the biannual industrial expos held at BMG World, the company plans to follow this food and beverage expo with other specialist industry events, including water and wastewater, power generation and mining.
