Cape Town warms up this week

After receiving an abundance of much-needed rain in one day on Friday, Cape Town will be warming up once again.

On Friday, October 26, torrential downpours hit the Mother City causing major flooding and damage in certain areas. One man took to hisย SUP boardย to showcase how bad the flooding in his neighbourhood was.

This week the weather will warm up again, illustrating the Mother Cityโ€™s ability to deliver four seasons in a few days.

Monday will still be gloomy and cold, with a welcomed 80% chance of 10mm of rain, according to South African Weather Service (SAWS).

As of October 25, the dam levels are currently at 79.5%.

Capetonians should still be using water sparingly. As we edge closer to the sweltering summer months, we should aim to save as much of this precious resource as possible.
