Packing a virtual punch in October with Propak

Celebrate packaging in October with Opportunities in Packaging in the ‘New Normal’, a Propak Cape virtual experience taking place on Wednesday 21 October. This one-hour webinar will highlight the latest trends and technologies in the packaging industry presented by industry-expert panellists.

Propak Cape is recognised as an innovative packaging solutions trade expo for the Western Cape and has successfully showcased the latest products, services and innovations to a captive and receptive audience for over twenty years. It brings together many stakeholders from the packaging, food processing, plastics, printing and labelling industries.

The postponement of the 2020 show edition in October as a result of the global Covid-19 pandemic is disappointing, but all stakeholders are looking forward to the live show now taking place from 8-10 June 2021 at the Cape Town International Convention Centre.

To still put a mark on this year’s October calendar, the organisers of Propak Cape, Specialised Exhibitions, will be hosting a virtual experience webinar ‘One day, one hour, packed with a punch for the packaging industry: Opportunities in Packaging in the ‘New Normal’.

The speaker panellists will be Dikeledi Mosime, CEO of Tinpac, Kishan Singh, CEO of MetPac–SA and World Packaging Organisation (WPO) Ambassador, Maryke Foulds, Editor, SA Food Review, New Media Publications, and Gary Corin, Managing Director of Specialised Exhibitions, as the Moderator.

“The Propak Cape webinar will take place on 21 October at 11h00 and all interested parties are invited to attend free-of-charge,” says Sven Smit, Portfolio Director at Specialised Exhibitions. “The one hour digital event will be interactive and is geared towards bringing industry professionals together to discuss the latest trends, technologies and post-pandemic opportunities across the packaging industry.”
