MEGAGEN, a new Division of Megadrive Automation

With 25 years’ experience in the electrical engineering and system integration field, we now have an exclusive division called ‘MEGAGEN’ rolling out our range of diesel-gen offerings.  This division approaches the application from the start by doing actual load analysis over a period of minimum and maximum demand, then customises the generator to the exact requirements of the client.  The following factors are taken into account: fuel-tank size, footprint available, enclosure options from open frame to completely silent, and auto/manual/remote switchgear controls.   Enclosure options include steel or 3CR12 stainless steel.  Bigger gensets are housed in single or dual configurations in 6m standard ISO shipping containers.

Our range starts at 12 kVA, the MG-12, single phase, all the way up to 1MVA 400V 3-phase.  Load transfer switching comes as a standard feature on the MEGAGEN range, and this can be excluded and remote switching installed elsewhere.

We use tried and tested Deepsea controllers, from the simple changeover type to load sharing and synchronisation applications with the option of remote GSM control and monitoring, to enable use of ‘Load Shedding’ schedules, ensuring continuous power to your plant.

Have and old generator set with old legacy controls?  We refurbish, rebuild and modernise to original specification or beyond, to save costs and extend useful life.

Service level agreements are available upon request as well as diesel treatment options such as filtration and special anti-algae additives.
