BMG introduces SKF Vehicle Aftermarket automotive products

BMG has been appointed by SKF Automotive as a distribution partner of the complete SKF Vehicle Aftermarket range.

SKF Vehicle Aftermarket automotive bearing and components – known for precision engineering, innovation and reliability – are now available through BMG’s extensive branch network in southern Africa.

“The exciting launch of SKF Vehicle Aftermarket components into the BMG portfolio of automotive products was announced at the prestigious Nampo 2025 show, held in Bothaville,” says Carlo Beukes, Business Development Manager, for BMG’s Agricultural, Automotive and Lubrication division. “The addition of SKF Vehicle Aftermarket strengthens our ability to provide customers with trusted, premium solutions that deliver quality, performance, safety and durability on the road.

“It is important to note that our SKF Vehicle Aftermarket offering is exclusively tailored for the automotive sector. This means that BMG will not be supplying the standard SKF range of industrial bearings, but a specialised selection of automotive bearings and components, designed for passenger vehicles, commercial fleets and automotive workshop applications.

“SKF’s Vehicle aftermarket portfolio includes high-performance wheel bearings, hub units, tensioners and other critical drivetrain components – all engineered to meet or exceed OE standards.”

“Our first shipment of SKF wheel bearings and automotive kits has now arrived and is available at selected branches within our network. To make things even easier for our customers, there is a handy digital catalogue that ensures efficient identification of the correct bearing by vehicle brand and model. (SKF catalogue https://skf.jackcat.co.za/catalogue/) We are also finalising the printed catalogue, which will be distributed shortly.”

The premium-quality SKF Vehicle Aftermarket portfolio, which comprises over 20 000 variations, is set to boost BMG’s other leading automotive brands – including Snap-On, Gates, Rexon and Liqui Moly.

BMG’s automotive products are available from every branch and also via the company’s user-friendly online shopping platform, which is a convenient way to procure automotive products. This digital platform enhances convenience for customers, who still have the assurance of technical support and personal care from BMG specialists.

The BMG team provides a technical advisory and dependable support service to ensure optimum performance and extended service life of automotive components, which contributes to greater safety on the road.
