Steinmüller Africa to exhibit at Enlit Africa

Steinmüller Africa, the continent’s leading steam generation and high-pressure piping experts, will participate in Enlit Africa, Africa’s premier power and energy event from 16 to 18 May 2023. Held at the Cape Town International Convention Centre, the company will occupy stand A101 at the event.

Steinmüller Africa has been a leader in steam generation for more than 60 years and has maintained plants for Africa’s largest power utility for 52 years. During this time, it has designed, made and erected boilers that generate around 20 GW of South Africa’s installed power capacity.

It continues to innovate to better serve Africa’s power generation industry with work done in South Africa, Zimbabwe, Botswana, and Namibia. Steinmüller Africa will be showcasing its offering that sets it apart from competitors in the world of plant design, manufacturing, installation, and maintenance of steam generation plants.

The products and services highlighted at this year’s Enlit Africa, such as its engineering services, will focus on design and service as well as the optimisation process, mechanical and piping engineering. The design unit specialises in the custom design drawings of boilers and 3D heat exchanger to any clients’ specific requirements.

In South Africa, Steinmüller Africa’s manufacturing accomplishments include producing boiler pressure parts for 12 boilers as well as fabricating the high-pressure and temperature pipework for the Medupi and Kusile power plants. This work was done at its world-class manufacturing facility in the west of Pretoria, which boasts the latest technologies, including the only bending machine in Africa.

Its cutting-edge facilities and technologies make Steinmüller Africa the ideal partner for greenfield and brownfield projects. The company’s offerings and solutions are designed to ensure that their clients have a modern and efficient plant that is maintained using Steinmüller Africa’s excellent on-and off-site services to ensure optimal plant functionality.

In addition to its exceptional services and continuous innovation, Steinmüller Africa does its part to best serve the communities in which it operates. Corporate Communications Specialist, Mpho Muvhango expressed the contributions made by the company. “Not only do we provide employment in the country, but the company undertakes various CSI projects covering technical training, support to local schools and water supply projects.”

The company’s participation in the exhibition is driven by a desire to grow its client base through illustrating its services and products. “Steinmüller Africa is your dependable partner throughout the lifecycle of your plant. Let us manage the technical aspects of your plant while you concentrate on your core business”, says Steinmüller Africa’s Corporate Communications Specialist, Mpho Muvhango.
