Cape Town & the Western Cape Welcomes the World – Three Landmark Events Set to Shape Regional and Global Dialogue
- Cape Town and the Western Cape hosts three significant events in the first week of November, uniting leaders, investors and policymakers to drive inclusive and sustainable growth and regional collaboration.
- The events are set to reinforce Cape Town and the Western Cape as a leading regional economy, as well as an inspiring destination for business events.
This November, Cape Town and the Western Cape will host a landmark week of leadership, investment and regional collaboration as three major events converge to advance inclusive growth, unlock new investment opportunities, and facilitate global dialogue.

From 2–5 November, the Regional Leaders’ Summit, a bi-annual forum of seven partner regions – Bavaria, Georgia, Québec, São Paulo, Shandong, Upper Austria and the Western Cape – convened in Cape Town to focus on cooperation and knowledge sharing across key areas such as trade, investment and safety.
From 5–7 November, the International Women’s Forum (IWF) Cornerstone Conference, will bring together nearly 500 exceptional women leaders from 30 countries. Held under the theme Ubuntu – I Am Because We Are, delegates will examine critical global issues, the impact of artificial intelligence and the vital role of arts and culture in shaping our collective future, all through a women’s lens.
Running concurrently, the Western Cape government will host the inaugural Western Cape Investment Summit from 5-7 November. The summit will connect investors with high-potential opportunities in the region’s priority sectors including renewable energy, technology and tourism. Delegates will have an opportunity to see first-hand why Cape Town and the Western Cape is a leading regional economy.
