Maintenance costs, which are traditionally grudge expenses for businesses or industrial operations, can be kept to a minimum by ensuring that maintenance crews are properly trained in key aspects of the condition monitoring process.
So says Steven Lumley, technical manager at specialist condition monitoring company, WearCheck.ย
โThe rate at which technology is advancing in many aspects of condition monitoring dictates that regular technical training is necessary, to ensure that staff members stay abreast of the latest techniques, and that they understand and implement the most efficient processes.โ
Lumley, who oversees the companyโs extensive technical training schedule for customers, outlines the available options. โWe offer a choice of more than 15 courses covering a wide range of topics, from general oil analysis to thermography, transformer maintenance and many other reliability solutions services. The courses are presented by experienced WearCheck experts in each field, and most courses award valuable CPD (continuing professional development) points to delegates.
โWearCheck has run oil analysis courses for more than 20 years, and has been accredited to run Mobius courses since 2015. Our training material is constantly refined to ensure that the content is relevant, useful and accurate.โ

The words of Albert Einstein resonate well with WearCheckโs philosophy โ he said, โI have no special talent. I am only passionately curious.โ โAt WearCheck, we are passionately curious about novelty and improvement in the condition monitoring arena, and weโre proud to be able to share our knowledge with our clients,โ says Lumley.
โWe embrace innovation, and are constantly implementing new technologies โ therefore, the more informed our clients are about the upgraded analysis systems, the better their return on investment into a condition monitoring programme.
