These Cape Town areas will be without electricity this week

The City of Cape Town (COCT) says it will continue with its routine maintenance on the electrical infrastructure in various areas from Monday, November 29 until Saturday, December 4.

According to the COCT, routine regular planned maintenance takes place daily in various areas across the metro and the maintenance will allow them time to plan for the outage and to allow their teams sufficient time to complete the required maintenance tasks.

The areas that will be affected by the routine electricity supply interruptions this week:

Meanwhile, the COCT has appealed to consumers to switch off appliances at wall sockets ahead of maintenance to reduce the risk of damage caused by a power surge.
