Developing Western Cape manufacturers

The upcomingย Manufacturing Indaba Western Cape,ย will play host to key stakeholders and manufacturers in the Western Cape manufacturing arena, who will assemble, network with industry specialists, share knowledge and showcase their products and services in a bid to further develop the regionโ€™s manufacturing industry. Taking place on the 6thย November 2019 at the Cape Town International Convention Centre, the event has expanded significantly.

The conference will provide industry leaders an opportunity to impart their expert knowledge on how to proactively manage the implementation of Industry 4.0 and IoT in an effort to stay ahead of the curve. In light of the disruptive technological revolution, the event intends to address and appease heightened concerns relating to job-security and career paths in the event of adopting progressive manufacturing methodologies.

The conference will furthermore, host forums on attracting funding for the provinceโ€™s manufacturing sector. Several requirements must be met by candidates in order for enterprises to secure access to these funding initiatives and such insightful panels will serve as platforms to inform potential applicants thereof.

Supporting the conference, an exhibition showcasing Black Industrialists, and ABSA showcase of participating companies, various Provincial and National Government stakeholders who support manufacturing, as well as manufacturers, will be exhibiting their products and services.ย  Interest in the exhibition is growing daily wth over 500 pre-registered visitors keen to learn and find out more from the exhibiting companies.

The Western Cape Manufacturing Indaba, hosted with the support of the City of Cape Town is once again proving to be an event not to be missed.
