Rain on the cards for Cape Town this week

This past weekend was a scorcher, but it appears the new week will bring much cooler weather and even some rain to the Mother City. Almost every day this week will be partly cloudy, with temperatures in the low 20s.

On Monday [December 7] we will experience a high of 23°C and low of 14°, the warmest predicted day of the week.

The weather take a dip from Tuesday [December 8] and Wednesday [December 9], which both have a predicted high of 21°C and low of 16°C. There is also a 40% chance of scattered showers for Wednesday.

Thursday will bring a high of 21°C with a low of 15°C. Friday is expected to be a cool 19°C, with a low of 14°C.

The weekend will warm up slightly, with a 20°C high and 14°C low for Saturday and a 22°C high and 14°C low for Sunday.
