Steinmüller Africa presenting the ultimate annual boiler technology course 2024

Steinmüller Africa has leveraged their 60 years of local experience to present a course which covers the full lifecycle of a steam generator: boiler and piping design, fabrication, erection, commissioning, operating and maintenance.

The online course will be hosted from 11 to 15 March 2024 via MS Teams and is open to one and all. Participants will gain priceless insights into thermodynamics, firing systems, water chemistry, heat transfer, and materials.

Professionals registered with the Engineering Council of South Africa (ECSA) will earn 5 CPD points for completing the course. Interested applicants can secure their spots by registering online. Registrations close 23 February 2024.

The course, which costs R10 665,67 per person, will be hosted from 08:00 to 16:00 daily. Participants will gain invaluable knowledge shared by nine experts with years of experience in mechanical, piping, metallurgical, welding and maintenance. Attendees have the exclusive opportunity to engage with industry experts and other participants, allowing for collaborations and professional connections.

The course is divided into eight sections: the introduction, process design, mechanical design, piping design, boiler construction, boiler operation and plant availability, boiler maintenance, and metallurgy.

With more than six decades of offering comprehensive expertise in steam generation, Steinmüller Africa is a leader in boiler technology. They have major contracts across South Africa to maintain power plants.
