Sydney Metro Cable-Stayed Bridge wins again in South Africa

The iconic Sydney Metro Cable-Stayed bridge project was once again a winner, this time at the 2018 Consulting Engineers South Africa (CESA) Aon Engineering Excellence Awards, held on August 15 in Johannesburg, South Africa.

Representatives from the proud South African Structures team, who worked for over four years on the project, were on hand to receive the winner’s award for Best International Project.

This is the second win for the project in South Africa; the first being Best International Project at the South African Institution of Civil Engineering (SAICE) Western Cape Regional Awards in May, 2018.
