Cape Town’s first indoor roller skating park launches

Strap up for a rocking good time! The city’s very first indoor roller skating park opened on Friday, December 11 at Battery Park in the Waterfront.

Locals looking for something new and fun to do should head on over to Rollercade, an indoor skating park offering a safe and friendly environment for the entire family.

Enjoy roller-skating, a game of pool or just to sit back and enjoy the music.  Even if you’re not keen on skating, there is an arcade to keep you busy.

It is located on P3 (Parking Floor 3) at the Battery Park Entrance off Alfred or Dock Road Waterfront, Cape Town.

Those keen to roll on in will pay R150 for a 2.5 hour session, which includes rental of skates and safety gear. It costs R80 if you bring your own skates, and R40 just to enter and enjoy the arcade.

Visitors skate in three main sessions and two extra slots, beginning from 10am and ending at 6.30pm on weekdays and 9.30pm on Fridays and Saturdays. After every session, the room and items are sanitized.

Visitors are required to wear a mask and socks throughout their skating experience.

Visit their website for more information and to book HERE.
